FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEContact: Claudia Gere, 413-259-1741, Claudia@ClaudiaGereCo.com Cathartic Healing Techniques Revealed in a New Book about Author's Journey to Overcome Emotional TraumaPartially sighted, Fred Craver lives in a world of dark and light guided
by a white cane. Yet this challenge is easier than some others he has
faced. In his book Courageous Healing: How to Fully and Quickly Recover from
Traumatic Experiences or Feelings of Anger and Resentment, author
Fred Craver, Ph.D., reveals for the first time the techniques for healing
he discovered through his own unrelenting struggle.
Fred experienced several serious traumas that produced deep-seated emotional
wounds, which eventually evolved into physical symptoms such as a persistent
discomfort limiting the use of his hands, failure to recover from common
illnesses within a reasonable period of time, and more-unpredictable and
medically unexplainable. Courageous Healing combines Fred's memoir of self-discovery and
guidelines for self-healing using his new techniques. In an upper middle
class, well-educated family that appeared to have everything, his mother
lived in constant fear of abandonment and his older brother, cruel as
a child, later committed suicide. He unravels the underpinning events
and circumstances that led to his emotional trauma. He tells how he discovered
his healing techniques and how determination to heal his life, forced
him to test them on himself. In an easy-to-read, easy-to-understand format
he presents the techniques. More traditional methods that helped him are
explained as well. Courageous Healing offers a journey with a frank author who explains
how he:
"There were times I was unable to fully function, but I never quit.
If one thing didn't work, I looked for something else. I hope that my
book will give others the encouragement to keep trying as well. It will
also provide them with the techniques to achieve greater emotional healing
than they ever dared to hope for," says Fred. Courageous Healing: How to Fully and Quickly Recover from Traumatic Experiences or Feelings of Anger and Resentment, ISBN: 0-9749612-0-5, US $16.95.
